Some Tasty Treats in Store for Bleary YFC The next club meeting will take place this Friday 1st February at 8pm in the Farmers Hall. The theme for the evening will be a ‘roving supper’. This consists of members travelling around a number of selected houses obtaining a starter, main course and adesert. There will also be a committee meeting at 8pm sharp on Thursday 31st January. All members should try and attend. Any members that still have not confirmed that they wish to take part in the photographic competition this year should do so at once. Members can enter a maximum of three photographs under the themes of pink, a close-up of nature and seasonal. All photographs should be given to the secretary before the end of this week. Over this past week, a number of members competed in the Ulster Young Farmer Competition Second Stage, while other members took part in the Home Management Competition. On Wednesday evening last, the club also attended the launch of the annual Mullahead Ploughing Match at Craigavon Civic and Conference Centre. The Club will be participating in this year’s event which will be held on Saturday 23rd February. If you are interested in the activities of the club, then why not come along to any of the club meetings, speak to any of the current members or alternatively check out www.blearyyfc.bebo.com. Remember, the YFC is not all about welly boots and you don’t need to be a Farmer, to be a Young Farmer. |
