Ploughing A straight Furrow! Bleary Young Farmers’ Club will hold their next event this Saturday 23rd February, venue being Mullahead and District 94th Annual Ploughing Match. The club will host a number of competitions ranging from guess the number of spuds in a bag, the number of spots, lucky stick competition, this alongside the usual catering arrangements on the day. Club member Susanne Halliday will also compete in the Ladies Tractor Pulling event. Be sure to be there for what promises to be the biggest and best Mullahead Ploughing event ever. All members are asked to meet at the club hall on Friday evening at 4.30pm to prepare facilities for the event. Bleary YFC would like to thank the Mullahead Ploughing Society committee for the invitation for the Bleary club to attend this event, an event that the club much enjoys looking forward to each year. If you are interested in the activities of the club, then why not come along to any of the club meetings or alternatively pop along to the Ploughing match this Saturday and speak to any of the members. Remember, the YFC is not all about welly boots and you don’t need to be a Farmer, to be a Young Farmer. |
