Bleary Rural Community

Bleary YFC will hold their St Patrick’s Stew Night and Community Table Quiz on Friday 14^th March at 7.45pm.

Venue is the Farmers’ Hall, Upper Ballydougan Road (off main Lurgan to Gilford Road)

Be sure to be there and bring a team for what promises to be a fun filled evening.

Last weekend, three teams from Bleary YFC competed in the Northern Ireland Table Quiz at Loughry Campus, Cookstown. Although, none of the top three prizes went to Bleary, the members thoroughly enjoyed what was a challenging quiz.

If no prizes were had from the quiz, the evening did not prove disappointing as club members Julie Menaul and Nicola Harrison both picked up First prizes in their respective age categories in the Craftwork competition.

Bleary YFC also helped with car park marshalling at Glenavy Vintage Display at Moira and a big thanks to all members who give of their time.

During the week, county interviews have taken place for both Junior and Senior member of the year with Diane Halliday representing Bleary as a Junior, while John Harrison representing the senior category. Both await the results.
