Bleary YFC Savours Success The next event on the club calendar for Bleary Young Farmers’ is the Ulster Young Farmer Competition which will take place this Thursday 20th November at 7.45pm and to be held in Kingshill Orange Hall. This competition is a multiple choice question paper with two age categories, junior and senior. On Sunday 23rd November, Bleary YFC Choir Practice will again take place between 3-5pm. Last weekend saw a successful Co Armagh Annual Dinner Dance and Awards Ceremony held in Tandragee Golf Club. Bleary YFC picked up a number of awards for their achievements throughout the past year. For the second consecutive year, Bleary was awarded Club of the Year. Club Leader, David Meredith collected the award with this being an excellent achievement for the club and well done to all members over the past year. It is only with everyone’s input that the club will continue to prosper. Club members Richard Boyes, John Harrison, Nicola Harrison, Julie Menaul, David Meredith and Heather Walker all collected awards on the night for their participation over the year. David Meredith collected an award for Club Leader of the Year, Heather Walker for Treasurer of the Year and John Harrison for Public Relations Officer of the Year. Other awards which were gained were for Top Marks in the Home Management Competition which was awarded to Julie Menaul, Nicola Harrison for highest points in the Beef and Sheep Judging Competitions and with highest points in the Dairy judging awarded to Richard Boyes.
