Bleary YFC ‘Night of Drama’ The next event on the club calendar for Bleary Young Farmers’ Club is this Friday evening, 12th December. The theme is to be a ‘Drama Night’. A number of guests will be in attendance to provide guidance of acting and on-stage performances. Please note that this is an extra club meeting with meetings usually held on the first and third Friday. The evening will commence as usual at 8pm and to be held in the Farmers’ Hall, Upper Ballydougan Road. Over the past week, members of the above club have been busy rehearsing and competing in the 2008 YFC Choir Festival. An excellent evening of entertainment was had by all members with the song ‘Mighty to Save’ delivered by Bleary’s choir. Although no prizes were to be gained, well done to all involved and we hope to be back next year. A number of members have also been undertaking a First Aid course over recent weeks with the conclusion on Monday evening past. Again well done to all involved. There is still time to enter the design a Strapline (slogan) competition. An Ipod Nano is up for grabs so get thinking. Your suggestion should be between 3-6 words and incorporate the YFCU logo, be fun and eye catching and overall show what the organisation is about. All entries should be club office bearers by 12th December. If you are not yet a member and would like to join, there is still just time to do so.
