New Year/ New events for Bleary YFC |

12/01/2009 Bleary YFC will resume club meetings this Friday 16th January 2009. Members will be heading for a meal in recognition of club member, Suzanne Halliday who is leaving owing to further studies in England. Times will be confirmed later. Many new and exciting events and activities have been planned for this year. To name a few, Police, Camera, Action; All Change; Knowing me, Knowing You; Practice, Practice (Volley Ball); Try… Again… (Rugby Match) and many more. Recently it was announced that five club members have reached the next stage of the Ulster Young Farmer Competition. Club members Richard Boyes, Stuart Hanna, Nicola Harrison, Adam Holmes and Jill Poots will proceed through to the next stage which will be held on Thursday 22nd January in Newtownards. Members are also reminded of the annual photographic competition with this year’s themes namely: Green, Northern Ireland landscapes and babies. Each member can submit one photograph per theme. Please hand all entries to the secretary asap. Also please bear in mind the Presentation/ Demonstration competition which will be held on Wednesday 11th March in Greenmount. Members should be thinking about a topic on which to give a power-point/ practical demonstration. This should be a maximum of fifteen minutes.
